Salt Rock at a glance

Salt Rock is a favourite holiday destination for many local South Africans and holiday apartments in this area remain an excellent investment. It is a bussing town with many new developments and has a selection of shopping places and many restaurants and eateries.

As well as providing some fishing spots, there are reefs offshore. The main beach is protected by shark nets and has lifeguards on duty, this makes it a popular swimming and surfing beach. Close to the main beach is a large tidal pool, which was originally built for guests staying at the iconic Salt Rock hotel.
